As you can hear by listening to my work, I am a versatile voice actor. I don't mean to say that I'm a 'chameleon voice.' Most people who describe themselves as such are not; they're simply trying to 'cast a wide net' rather than focusing on the ranges in which they can truly work. In my 30 years in the industry, the number of true 'chameleon voices' I've encountered can be counted on one hand. Being a versatile voice actor doesn't mean being able to do Tweety Bird, the cat Sylvester, a yougnster, Maria Callas and Sylvester Stallone. It means being at the service of its clients, listening to producers and artistic directors, being able to adapt to briefs, to deliver interpretations beyond expectations.
Whether it's advertising, corporate, network imaging, video games, animation or narration, you're entitled to expect a voice actor to do more than 'read aloud' - artificial intelligence does that very well. You want them to speak and connect with your audience, so that they get the message you want to get across, and AI can't do that. Your audience hears the difference, and I hope you'll hear it too when you listen to my work, on this website or my voixoff.pro/en or my Youtube channel The French Voice.
As voice over artists, our job is first and foremost to listen and add value to the script, whether it's a TV spot, a corporate film, a sweeper, a video game character, an audiobook, or an explainer.
When you record in a post-production facility, you rightly expect impeccable sound. Any voice over artist working from their own recording studio should be able to assure you that the sound produced in their studio is equally flawless - no reverb, mat but not dead, and without outside noises. I guarantee such sound quality with my professionally designed and custom-built voice over recording studio..
