voice-over advertising ScotlandWhile we all know what a TV advert or billboard is, there are many different types of broadcast: terrestrial channels, international broadcasting, subscription channels such as Netflix or Amazon Prime, VOD (video on demand), replay, internet (organic and/or sponsored), points of sale, trade fairs, etc. For TV advert voice-overs, neighbouring rights, commonly known as exploitation rights, vary according to the desired broadcast, the duration of the broadcast and its geographical scope.

Web spot voice-overs are no exception to the rule: organic web (i.e. non-paid, typically advertisers' websites, their social network accounts, their own Youtube channel), sponsored spots on social networks, pre/mid/post roll Youtube, are different factors for calculating exploitation rights.
