Voice over clients: my references
Voice over Client list
The logos below represent a sample of my list of voice-over clients. As a French voice actor, since 1994 I have had the honour of being the voice of numerous advertisers, large and small (TV & web spots and radio spots). You can find examples of my work by clicking on the links below, and on my Youtube channel.
Because of the timbre of my voice, I'm often chosen in voice over castings whether in French or in French-accented English for grainy or seductive, masculine, deep voice over, but also for projects where a composed, humane and sincere voice over, is needed.
I've recorded hundreds of corporate and industrial films, corporate videos, podcasts, etc. for local, national and international companies.
On my CV, I can also boast of having worked with numerous TV channels for their imaging: continuity, promos, links etc .
I have also worked on a number of video games, audio books, documentaries, cartoons and films.
I'm a native French speaker and I also do voice overs in English with French accent, being bilingual after having lived for many years in the United States and Great Britain.
Further down this page, you can read the reviews that my clients and colleagues have kindly sent me. Many thanks to them, and to all my customers who have trusted me for 30 years!

An incredibly warm and professional French voice over artist, with such astonishing character and depth in his voice, Pierre added more than I could have dreamed of to our production. His ability to record, edit and clean up the takes directly from his own facility with a sound worthy of the best Soho studios, giving us the welcomed option to remotely live-produce the session, saved us so much time. I can't wait to work with him again
Nick Bartleet, Director
I wanted to thank you personally for working with us. It was a real pleasure working with you and the result was really great, a real identity on the channel
Anne-Sophie Channoux, Channel Director, Discovery France
Great studio Pierre! But to be honest you would sound great on a tin can and a piece of string
Michael Powell, Head of Sound, Prodigious Worldwide
I was lucky enough to work with Pierre (as artistic director) on the extreme sports game Riders Republic. This was a long project (usually localisation dubbing is condensed into one or two weeks) - in this case, we worked together every day for almost two months.
I was able to observe Pierre interacting with experienced and beginner voice actors, and I appreciated his professionalism, his experienced and passionate management of the set, his open-mindedness, and the healthy, efficient, and very supportive working atmosphere that resulted from it. It's one of the best collaborations I've experienced in twenty years of my career.
And when he steps behind the microphone, you can feel a complete mastery of his voice; he is a professional and an artist whom I highly recommend.
Gérard Barnaud, Localisation Director, Ubisoft
Over the many years I’ve worked with Pierre, he’s never failed to deliver the goods. He’s always quick to grasp what’s required while constantly delivering beyond expectations and he is a true pleasure to record and work with. As a sound engineer working in a high-end London facility, I’m also really impressed with the quality of voice recordings produced by his own studio.
Iain Grant, Sound Engineer, WAM London (ex-Triangle)
I couldn’t imagine our French Cheese' TV advert without your voice. You smashed everything. Thank you for being incredible
Christopher Lawson, CEO, I Am In Here
I have been working with Pierre for more than two decades. I adore Monsieur Maubouche. Not only is an incredibly talented voiceover but he is an absolute joy to work with. He is accomodating, versatile and offers good advice on translations, scripts and direction where required. I can’t recommend him highly enough. Book him, book him now
Nicola Gilbert, Deputy MD, Grand Central Recording Studios
To simply label Pierre “voice talent” would be a serious understatement. This guy is a full-blown actor. He became Ben the Bodyguard in an instant – not only lending Ben his voice, but giving him a soul in the process
Stefan Telegdy, CEO Nerd Communications, & Partner, Embassy Of Dreams
We needed a voice for our Skittles rainbow coloured muppetesque tapeworm, not an easy brief, but Pierre delivered a pitch perfect performance that brought Benny the tapeworm to life and with it personality and tone that Benny was lacking. Benny is alive with a ton of character!!! thanks to Pierre
Richard Hickey, Director
It fits in great and sounds brilliant! Thank you so much for fitting this in last minute and for your hard work. I’ll definitely keep you in mind for any future French VO work that comes in
Andrew Sones, Creative Director, Ministry of Motion
A very distinctive voice that increased the quality of the creative. Thanks again
Martin Laing, Producer, Turner Commercial Productions for CNN

A warm and extremely versatile voice which is a pleasure to record. Whether in the studio with you or working remotely, Pierre is a pleasure to work with. His understanding of our needs and his technical skills also make him an invaluable asset to any recording session
Stewart Barnes, Sound Engineer and Owner, GuiltFreePost
Thank you Pierre, that sounds fantastic. I will highly recommend you to all my colleagues
Ed Mallin, Producer, Sky Sports
It is always a pleasure to work with Pierre, he takes the time to make sure he understands all the details of the script fully and his voice means you are gripped from the start! He is also quick to respond and very easy to work with, I would recommend Pierre to anyone who would like a distinctive French touch to their project
Michèle Venn, Senior Account Manager, Random 42
Ever since we launched voice over continuity on Discovery Channel France, Pierre has been the man behind the voice on the screen. Not only is he an excellent voice over artist but he consistently demonstrates impressive writing skills while working to very tight deadlines. Pierre is very reliable, good at what he does and last but not least a very friendly person. Oh, and he does an awesome car engine impression
Erwann Guirriec, On-Air Producer, Discovery France
We were thrilled with the way the French version sounded! That was a pleasure to work with you. Cheers again!
Deb Stockdale-Hughes, Operations Director, Skyskraper
Pierre is not only a voice over talent, he's also an asset. Not only does he do what he's asked to do brilliantly, but he also always offers suggestions on both the editorial and technical fronts. You can be sure that he will offer you the best value for money on the market: he believes in long-term relationships, which says a lot about his work ethic.
John Palfrey, Channel Director, ESPN Classic France
Throughout the year and a half that I was at ESPN, I worked with Pierre on a monthly basis and had the pleasure of working with his friendly, naturally charming, yet professional voice for all the French continuity used on ESPN (which he was doing since we launched in France in 2001.) If ever I needed a quick turnover (which was very often) Pierre would always adhere to the deadlines given even if he was absolutely swamped with other work/new born twins/French weather disasters! Even though we liaised predominantly via email, I really got a sense of Pierre’s affable personality and unwaivering optimism. Positivity and reliability in the work place, especially with those whose reliability is critical, is of utmost importance and Pierre displayed both these attributes in the bundle-load. I only hope that all the voiceovers that I come to work with will be like Pierre; reliable, amicable and a total pleasure
Anneka Tankaria, Continuity Writer/Producer, ESPN Classic France
Pierre provided the perfect balance of clarity for an international audience with authenticity
Jess Wardle, CEO, M&C Saatchi
If you require the best French voice actor in the business… Look no further. He is the Real McCoy, or more aptly, the Real Maubouche, of voice overs
