Short ‘I Am A Pencil’
‘I Am a Pencil' is a six-minute hand-drawn animated short written and directed by Joe D’Arcy, in which I performed the film’s sole character: the pencil. Created as an artistic response to the marches for freedom of expression that followed the attack on Charlie Hebdo, the film was selected by numerous international festivals. It was nominated and/or awarded in the following festivals:
